Progressive Public Affairs is a growing lobbying, political marketing and communications agency based in Chicago. Our business is helping individuals and organizations with their goal of creating a better world. Our clients include state and local elected officials, policy institutes, progressive organizations and government agencies. We’re currently seeking highly qualified, passionate and dedicated young citizens to lend their talents to our growing practice. Interns will be expected to develop policy proposals for state and local elected officials, based on thorough research. This is an ideal opportunity for a student who wishes to pursue a career law, government, public service or social change.
Requirements
We’re looking for a student with a good knowledge of public policy that is enthusiastic about progressive change. Excellent research and writing skills are essential, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
We require a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. The internship is unpaid, however you may make arrangements with your school to receive academic credit for this position
